The Irish Banking Culture Board welcomes the additional supports offered by our member banks to support vulnerable and elderly customers.  These measures include priority hours in branches in the mornings, dedicated phone lines, in addition to other measures in place for all customers.

Information is available from your bank on services and supports available to all customers.  You should be aware there are some COVID-19 scams in circulation and should ensure to protect your personal details at all times.  Customers are advised not to give any personal details, including bank account details, credit/ debit card details, PIN numbers, bank passwords or banking login details to anyone you don’t trust, whether in person, over the phone, via text message or email.   Contact your bank directly if you have any concerns regarding scams.  We in the IBCB would also be happy to hear from you if you have any questions at this difficult time (info@ibcb.ie).
